About this nanny job

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and gentle nanny to care for our 11-month-old for about 4 weeks. Strong infant experience and safety awareness are very important to us, especially around feeding/choking, sleep, falls, and caring for an increasingly mobile baby. This includes never stepping away from the baby when he is on an elevated surface such as the changing table. Typical responsibilities include: * Feeding about 2 bottles and 1–2 solid meals during the day * Diaper changes, dressing, and general daily care * Putting baby down for 2 naps and monitoring him with the baby monitor during naps * Bathing about twice a week and helping with his daily hygiene routine on non-bath days * Playing, reading, and doing age-appropriate activities * Keeping the baby’s play and feeding areas tidy and wiping down the play mat * Washing bottles about twice a day (we have a bottle washer) * Cleaning up baby-related messes * Baby laundry as needed; willingness to hand-wash some baby clothes would be a big plus, but is not required Good hygiene habits, including regular handwashing, are important to us. We also prefer minimal personal phone use while the baby is awake so the caregiver can stay attentive and engaged. Up-to-date vaccinations and a recent health clearance/physical are preferred. The schedule is flexible — about 3–5 days per week, and we’re open to either weekdays or weekends depending on your availability. We do need someone who can provide consistent coverage throughout the full 4-week period. I’ll be on leave during this period and may be home or out during the day, but the nanny will be primarily responsible for the baby during scheduled hours. We also have security cameras in the baby’s room and common areas of the home. We’re especially looking for someone who is attentive, patient, gentle with the baby, and experienced with babies around 10–12 months as they become more mobile.
