Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant Needed – Kings Park, NY | $25/hr Start Date: ASAP – Ideally October 27–30, 2026 We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, caring, and flexible part-time nanny/family assistant for our two active boys, ages 6 and 2! We’re a busy family with two working parents, and Mom occasionally travels for work. I’ll be starting a new job on November 17, so we’re hoping to find someone who can start this week or next week to allow time for training, getting familiar with our routines, and helping the boys adjust. Regular Schedule: * Tuesday–Thursday: 2:30–5:30 PM (9 guaranteed hours per week) Additional Hours Needed Immediately: * Tuesday, November 3: 9 AM–5 PM (school closed) * November 10–12: 6:30–9:30 AM and 2:30–6 PM (Mom traveling for work) * Friday, November 13: 6:30 AM–6 PM (school closed) Ongoing Flexibility Needed: * School breaks/days off: Tuesday–Thursday, approximately 9 AM–5 PM when Mom is home. * Mom’s work travel: Tuesday–Thursday, approximately 6:30–9:30 AM and 2:30–6 PM. * Occasional additional hours may be available depending on our family’s schedule. * Advance notice will always be provided for schedule changes whenever possible. Responsibilities Include: * School/daycare drop-offs and pickups * Managing the boys’ schedules and activities * Planning fun outings, playground trips, and age-appropriate activities * Diaper changes and toddler care * Preparing family dinners and simple meals * Children’s laundry, dishes, tidying, and light household assistance * Helping with morning and afternoon routines 🚗 Family vehicle provided for transporting the children. Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for someone experienced, dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable caring for two energetic boys. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and references. This is a long-term, part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule and opportunities for additional hours.
