Family looking for a full time caretaker starting Tuesday, Dec 1 in Brooklyn - $26/hr

About this nanny job

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive babysitter for our son, who will be around 6 months old. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10 AM–4 PM (approximately 30 hours/week). A 30-minute lunch break can be provided if desired. There may be some flexibility with hours depending on our work schedules. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive, loving care for our baby throughout the day. • Change diapers and maintain his daily routine. • Feed him breast milk from bottles and prepared solid foods once a day. All bottles and food will be prepared in advance. • Engage him in age-appropriate play and activities. • Put him down for naps and help him settle comfortably for sleep. Our son is a relatively calm and easygoing baby. I work from home and will generally be in my home office during the day, so I’ll be available if needed while giving you space to care for him independently. No cooking, dishwashing, or household chores are required. We also have two small senior dogs who will generally stay with me or rest in their beds. No pet care is expected or required. We’re hoping to find someone warm, dependable, and experienced with infants who will help our little one feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. We’d love to find someone who can be a consistent part of his routine!
