Description: Hello! We are a loving family in Phelan (92371) near the intersection of Johnson Road and Phelan Road looking for a mature, reliable, and caring babysitter to join our support system for occasional, as-needed care. Mom works from home, so support is near, but we need someone to take the reins! The entire heart of why we are hiring is that our sweet son has a speech delay. As a former teacher myself, I know firsthand that supporting him takes patience, constant talking, and interactive reading. Bilingual is a huge plus, but above all, we need a trustworthy, safe caregiver who truly loves preschoolers and wants to help them thrive! COMPLETE SCHEDULING FLEXIBILITY: We offer complete scheduling flexibility! We are looking for casual, occasional help and are incredibly happy to coordinate hours entirely around your existing schedule, university classes, or primary employment. Whether you are looking for occasional mornings, specific afternoons, or casual date-night blocks, we can adapt to what works best for you. Our goal is to make this a supportive, stress-free arrangement for our caregiver. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Active Engagement: A deep commitment to a safe, gentle, nurturing environment, including active outdoor play (a must in our rural area!). • Independence: Minimum 21 years of age with your own reliable, independent vehicle for a safe commute on our desert roads. (No rideshare dependencies or drop-offs, please!) • The Driveway 'Quiet Zone': Due to specific health and medical considerations in our home, we maintain a peaceful, quiet-zone environment. We just ask that vehicles arrive and depart completely quietly without honking. • Character: Exceptional honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and willingness to attend occasional family appointments with us. COMPENSATION: $22.00 – $24.00 / hour starting rate. We deeply value open communication, and we love rewarding our caregivers with a highly competitive rate for their dedicated time.
