About this nanny job
We’re a warm, loving family on the Upper West Side looking for an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy full-time nanny to care for our daughter, who will be 4 months old at the start. We’re hoping to find someone long-term who can become an extension of our family and grow with us over the years. Ideal Candidate: Extensive infant care experience and strong knowledge of developmental milestones Warm, nurturing, patient, attentive, and dependable Proactive, communicative, and genuinely passionate about childcare Familiar with the Upper West Side, including local parks, classes, activities, and the neighborhood nanny community Able to help foster socialization through playdates and age-appropriate activities Comfortable managing feeding, naps, developmental play, and daily routines Willing to assist with light baby-related housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as our daughter grows Infant CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification) Strong references from previous families Position Details: Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM; Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (48 hours/week) Start Date: January 2027 Position: Full-time, long-term Above all, we’re looking for someone who will provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for our daughter while becoming a trusted part of our family.
