About this nanny job
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and attentive part-time nanny to care for our 9-month-old baby boy at our home in Edgewater while I take afternoon work calls. We are raising our son bilingual, so we are seeking someone who will speak primarily Spanish with him throughout the day. Schedule & Compensation: Hours: Monday – Thursday (or Monday – Friday), 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM (guaranteed 18–22.5 hrs/week) Rate: $25.00 – $28.00/hour (based on experience) Core Responsibilities: Keep baby safe, engaged, and happy through Spanish conversation, playtime, books, and floor play. Handle afternoon feeding (solids/purees and bottle). Put baby down for his afternoon nap and monitor sleep. Routine diaper changes and attentive care. Light baby tidying: rinse bottles, wipe down the high chair, and pick up toys used during playtime. Optional / Weather permitting: stroller walks around the neighborhood. Requirements: Fluent or native Spanish speaker. Dedicated experience caring for infants (specifically 6–12 months). Current Infant CPR and First Aid certification. Pet-friendly: Must be comfortable around our friendly, well-behaved dog (no pet-care duties required). Non-smoker with verifiable references.
