About this nanny job
We’re looking for a loving, patient, and reliable part-time babysitter for our 18-month-old son in Cypress. Ideally, we need someone 2 days a week for 2–3 hours per visit. Our son is sweet, playful, and curious, but he takes a little time to warm up to new people. We’d love someone who is gentle, affectionate, and experienced with toddlers, especially those who may experience separation anxiety. He’s currently working on his walking skills, so someone who enjoys interactive play, age-appropriate activities, and encouraging his development would be wonderful. I’d like to stay home during the first few visits while the sitter takes the lead in caring for him, allowing him to build trust gradually. Responsibilities would include playing with him, supervising activities, diaper changes, and preparing simple snacks if needed. No housekeeping required. Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification, childcare references, and willingness to complete a background check are important to us. Spanish-speaking is a plus! Our budget is $15–$20 per hour, and we’re hoping to find someone who can become a consistent, trusted part of our son’s routine.
