About this nanny job
Vivianne is 4.5 months old. We are looking for an in-home nanny to help care for her during the day while we work from home. Dad works hybrid and goes into the office a few times a month. Mom runs her own business from home and has intermittent activities out of the home. Both parents' schedules are flexible and days out of the home vary, so flexibility is key. Most help needed Wednesdays and Thursdays ideally from 10am-4pm. Duties include rocking to sleep, diapering, burping after feeds (if Mom is home, she will nurse Vivianne) or bottle feeding and burping if Mom is not home, and playing. Vivianne loves to be held, go for walks around the backyard, and is learning how to roll and grab onto toys. We ask that time with her is never quiet; please talk and sing to her. You'll be rewarded with lots of coos and smiles! She takes 2-3 naps a day equally 5-6 hours a day. Her naps often need to be rescued and she can be a challenge to transfer into her crib. We are in the midst of sleep training. We do not expect any duties other than monitoring while she is asleep. Her fur sibling is a 72lb Akita/German shepherd mix who is very involved in her day. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable around a big dog who sheds. He is very friendly and loves to kiss faces.
