Super Cool, Happy Dude Needs a Buddy for a Couple of Weeks Looking for a kind, patient, playful female caregiver to hang out with my 9-year-old son, Evan, while we’re temporarily in DC. Think monster trucks, park and library trips, books, snuggles, and the ability to tune out the nasal tones of Blippi. Evan is happy, affectionate, active, and mischievous. He has significant developmental delays and is developmentally much younger than his age. He needs help with diapering and basic personal care. He’s also an elopement risk, so close, active supervision is essential, especially outdoors. I’m looking for someone who is happy to get down on the floor with some monster trucks. No ABA or therapy—just safe, fun days with a buddy. I’ll prepare his meals and snacks, so there’s no cooking or meal planning. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM, with flexibility to shift to 9:30 AM–2:30 PM. Possibly one evening per week, ending by 9:00 PM. Pay: $28/hour.
