About this nanny job
Hi, we are a family in Menlo Park looking for a full-time nanny for our infant son, born in June 2026, from January to July 2027. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 42 hours per week. We need someone available for the full term and this schedule. Pay: $27-$33 per hour, paid via payroll, with overtime per California law. Duties are mainly infant care: feeding, naps and wake windows, diaper changes, walks, play and developmental activities, and light tidying related to our son. Please follow our feeding and nap plan, and check with us before changing feeds. A friendly dog lives in the home, so please be comfortable around dogs. No dog care is required. Requirements: experience caring for infants, ideally long term with one family, a background check, at least two references from prior families or employers, and infant CPR and first aid preferred. A paid trial half day is required before starting. We will be traveling November 26 to December 17, so trials will be scheduled before November 25 or December 18 to January 3.
