Hiring a caretaker starting Monday, Nov 23 in Porter Ranch

Hi there, We’re Jeremy and Molly, parents to Javi (short for Javier), a sweet, cheeky 16-month-old. We’re moving from DTLA to Porter Ranch (north San Fernando Valley) on November 19 and are looking for someone to start the week of November 23. We know that’s Thanksgiving week, so it’ll be a short one. We’d want you home with your family for the holidays. The schedule is 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, 8am to 2pm. There may be room for more hours down the road as things settle. A little about Javi: he’s warm, a social butterfly, and full of personality. He loves food more than almost anything, but his books and the park are a close second. He’s not walking yet, but he’s getting closer every day, so you might be chasing him around pretty soon. :-) We care a lot about developmental play and building a real bond between Javi and his caregiver. We want someone who’s genuinely engaged, not just keeping him alive until we get back. What matters to us: experience with toddlers, CPR certification, and someone who keeps us in the loop during the day. We do work from home but he has his own room, play area and small backyard as our goal is to not be in your way - only when you need us or we just a quick Javi hug :) We also have cats, so hopefully you’re a fan. Some perks: you’re welcome to anything in the fridge, snacks, coffee, etc. We also have guest parking available that's maybe 15-20 feet away from the entrance to our townhome. If interested we'd like to setup a quick call, then a paid meet and greet with Javi. If it feels right, we’ll do a short trial. This is a real role with a family that values the person doing it.
