About this nanny job
This position is as a primary caretaker for an almost 9 year old active boy who has special needs and a severe seizure disorder. It is a full time position (40+ hours per week) but could start out parttime if needed until I go back to work. It would primarily be daytime hours 7:30am-6pm with some occasional late hours when one of his parents is traveling. You would be his 1:1 aide during the day (including at school for now) and drive him around for school and various therapies. He requires close observations as he has subtle seizures but is a fun loving boy who usually likes to be active. We also have an almost 5 year old boy who attends school full time but would be with you at times as well. We live in Northeast Washington DC and the boys attend school in Woodley Park. Therapy is in Friendship heights DC 2x/week and Rockville, MD 1x/week. If this is something that you'd be interested in doing, please let me know and we can set up a time to chat.
