Afterschool Babysitter/Driver + Light Errands – Tues, Weds, Thurs Hello! We are looking for a reliable, friendly babysitter/driver for our 8-year-old daughter three afternoons a week (Tues, Weds, and Thurs), generally from 1:30-5:30 pm. Responsibilities include school pickup, spending time with her after school, driving her to appointments/activities, and occasionally helping with light errands such as groceries or UPS returns. We will reimburse for mileage when you are working. We’re looking for someone who: - Has their own reliable car and a good driving record - Is patient, kind, and actively engaged with our daughter, whether playing games, chatting, or doing activities together - Can reliably commit to Tues, Weds, and Thurs afternoons for 6+ months - Doesn’t mind helping with light errands when not with our daughter - Is comfortable with stairs (we live on the second floor) and occasionally carrying grocery bags upstairs - Is comfortable around two guinea pigs and does not have a hay allergy. We may ask you to clean their cage occasionally but that would take less than 5 minutes. We live in Mid-City, near Pico & La Cienega (90035), and are hoping for someone who can start Dec. 1, but the start date is flexible. About us: We’re two full-time working parents and are very appreciative of the person who helps keep our afternoons running smoothly! We’ve had great relationships with our previous babysitters and try to be kind, flexible, and supportive employers.
