About this nanny job
We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and engaging part-time morning nanny for our toddler son, Ephraim. This position focuses on providing structured morning play, planned developmental activities, reading, and executing his lunch and naptime routine before departing at 11:30 AM. We are looking for someone proactive who will come prepared with age-appropriate activity ideas each day to keep Ephraim active, learning, and entertained. Key Responsibilities Morning Care & Engagement (7:30 AM – 11:00 AM): Planned Activities: Prepare and guide Ephraim through daily structured, age-appropriate activities (e.g., simple sensory play, arts and crafts, motor skill games) Interactive Play & Reading: Actively play with toys, encourage independent and guided exploration, and spend time reading books together. Supervision & Safety: Maintain constant visual supervision and provide a safe, nurturing environment. Lunch & Nap Routine (11:00 AM – 11:30 AM): Lunchtime (11:00 AM): Serve a pre-prepared lunch, assist with feeding/self-feeding as needed, and ensure a safe eating environment. Tidy Up (11:15AM): Clean up lunch items (dishes, high chair) and put away any toys/materials used during morning activities. Nap-time Prep (11:25 AM): Transition Ephraim into his crib for his morning/midday nap following our standard routine (diaper change, blanket, and hatch on)
