Hi, My Name is Linda and I was a California licensed infant/toddler and pre-school teacher who worked at Little Tree Preschool, Holy Family, Bright Horizons and Potrero Kids. I have also worked as a tutor with the Jewish Coalition for Literacy and the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. Due to a reduction in Government funding I was just laid off from my four-year employment with the non-profit On Lok as a fundraising asst. raising money to help low income seniors and disabled live independent lives with access to good medical care. However, I love children so I continue to babysit in the evenings. I have many years experience working with children of all ages. I am lucky that I continue to sit for families that I've had for many years as well as sitting for new families. I am fairly fluent in Spanish and know a bit of ASL. I love dogs but can sometimes be allergic to please let me know if you have a dog as I can take some medicine before coming. I can provide references if needed. I am also available for interviews in person or via the phone. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I promise all calls will be returned. Thank you.

Nice to meet you! I’m Kate, a 37 year old career nanny who moved from Chicago to LA in 2021 for a jet-setting/bi-coastal, travel heavy nanny position, and once the position ended, I decided to stay out here permanently. I live in Orange County with my girlfriend, and work M-Th, 7a-7p, in Studio City. My previous position was Jan ‘23- Nov ‘24. My background has always been in early childhood, and majored in early childhood education in college. I have years of experience with all age ranges and backgrounds: from kids who thrive in group settings to kids that do best with individualized, 1:1 care to kids who are neurodivergent. My first and top priority is the safety and wellbeing. Second is play, exploration, imagination, creativity, and seeing kids explore based on what they are into and things they find interesting. Third is, in my day-to-day, I take a child-centered approach. Including, but not limited to: time outside, walks, going to playgrounds, and finding activities within the home that the kids enjoy. My experience includes: working as a in-home support worker with neurodivergent kids, have worked at 3 early childhood centers (both as an assistant teacher and lead teacher); and all my experience has been from newborn to school age. In my free time: I love checking out new restaurants, adventuring the outdoors with my girlfriend, finding new trails to hike on AllTrails, the beach, and weekend trips

Kate was great. Communicative, prompt and immediately built rapport with our kids. Would hire again the next time we are in town!

Greetings Everyone! My name is Genèvieve, I am a Rāja and Jivamukti Yoga Instructor, an Activist/Advocate Leader (policy/law), in human trafficking and Founder of a Women’s Outdoor Organization. I am hard-working, honest, dependable, accountable, educated, punctual, intelligent, mellow, fun, great communicator, thoughtful, can take initiative and have a pitch in attitude, loves outdoors, can be firm yet kind, likes to cook, love animals and do live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle. I maintain a positive outlook in life. I am a person who believes that everything in life matters. One of my greatest qualities is my connection with children. Children are little philosophers, they are bright, resilient and intelligent little people, they watch us closely and sense us on an energetic level. My focus in supporting their development is through activating their neurological brain chemistry and sensory mechanics. When we understand the function of these models, children can evolve through conscious evolution. It is enriching to teach important life skill practices to children. In addition, my connection with children come in a form of lovingness, friendliness, playfulness, creativity, and ensuring that I provide a safe environment where they can blossom, find their authentic self to freely express who they are and most importantly, that they trust me. With this wealth at hand, a healthy relationship is born. Personal Interests & Hobbies Zazen, yoga, nutrition, sauntering trails, camping, paddle boarding, swimming, cooking, photography, road trips, documentary, dance, reading and love dogs and all animals! Non-violent communication, conflict resolution in communities. Offering outdoor yoga women’s retreats. Educating myself in all my interest, most specially in writing a series of children’s book regarding neurological brain chemistry. With hope of publishing in the future. Hi Families! ❤️ Available full-time nanny soon. Loving nanny and childhood education teacher with 10+ years of experience caring for children from newborns to school-age (including twins). I’m currently working with a wonderful family, and I’ll soon be available to help another family. I’m excited to find a new family where I can share my love, care, and experience. I have a little flexibility on Wednesdays because of a class in the afternoon. I’m from Colombia and truly enjoy spending time with kids. I’m passionate, patient, and hold a childhood education degree. I have extensive experience in childhood behavior and development, which allows me to provide professional and nurturing care. I’ve cared for children of various ages and family dynamics, including twins, toddlers, and babies. I also taught Spanish in a Spanish immersion program, which I really enjoyed. Most recently, I’ve been caring for a baby since he was just 2 days old, along with his 5- and 7-year-old siblings. My responsibilities have included caring for the baby, helping with his older siblings, driving them to school and activities, and being part of their daily routine and family life. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to help, whether you need full-time care, an extra hand, or date-night support. I would love to find a new family where I can help, support, and give lots of love and care to their kids. I have great references who’d love to talk to you. If you want to know more, I’d be more than happy to share details!

Hello! My name is Chieme and I’m a current Nursing student and certified by the American Heart association in infant/child/adult CPR. I have had high school and college experience taking care of children. I’ve babysat both here in America and back in my home-country Nigeria. In highschool most of my community service hours came from volunteering during the summer at a children’s camp, while my college experience comes from babysitting children through various babysitting apps. I also help babysit children of family members. I am the 2nd oldest of 4 children and have helped take care of the younger ones including my sister who has special needs. I also have experience babysitting children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism. I am enthusiastic, active, and adore all children. My availability is very flexible at the moment, since I’m a full-time student. I believe I am engaging and responsible and would love to look after your children. I also have no pet allergies, so pets in the house are totally fine! I’ve gone through Urban Sitter’s background check and I am happy to provide any documents upon request. Thanks for your time and I hope to meet you and your family soon!

She watched my boys in June and was great and very communicative.

Hello, my name is Cagla. I hold a master’s degree and have been working with children and families since 2013. My experience includes working as an au pair in the U.S. as well as supporting families through after-school educational programs and family-focused care services. I understand the different needs of children at various developmental stages and adapt my approach accordingly, and I consistently receive positive feedback from families for my professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to build trust.

Cagla has been a repeat babysitter many times for us over the past year for our kids aged 2 and 4. She is punctual, responsive, and has great availability. She even traveled north of SF to babysit during a recent family trip, which gave us great piece of mind since we knew and trusted her already. What stands out about Cagla compared to other other caregivers we've worked with (and why we continue to work with her) is the amount of energy, drive and attention she has in her work with children. She knows what ages various milestones happen (e.g. separation anxiety) and is prepared to handle them. She always asks the important practical questions about routines and schedules, and provides a clear update at the end of the stay. She is warm and plays with our kids on their level, but also very clear with them when they are crossing boundaries they shouldn't. Our children look forward to spending time with her!
