NOTE - at this time I am already committed to a family in the after-school time period. I do often take jobs outside of what you see on my calendar - just inquire! I'm looking for work in the childcare field because really, I like spending time with kids. When I had to think what I most like to do with young people, it is having conversations with them. I find it incredibly enjoyable, enlightening, and often, hysterical to hear what children have to say. Looking after children is something at which I felt I was always very good. It comes easily to me and I am extremely comfortable around children, from infants to teenagers. My life has really come full circle, back to children. Out of college I worked for many families for nearly 15 years as a sitter, while I eased into the graphic design field as a freelancer. After 25 yrs in that field, my role was becoming obsolete, so I naturally and easily slid back into childcare for the past many years. I am proud of the relationships I've developed with the children AND their parents - many have become close friends. I am very much a mature grown-up. Childcare is my primary work and focus. I show up. Extremely rare for me to cancel. I am single, with no children - just the mandatory cats we single women are obligated to have. I have loved living in San Francisco for 35+ years, graduating from USF and the Academy of Art University with a BFA degree. For 35+ years I have lived in the Inner Richmond in the same home. I'm passionate about traveling, baking/eating, movies, crafting. I believe you will find me to be a good listener, particularly to what you, the parents, are telling me about your child and his or her care. I am patient, easy going, but not a pushover. I firmly enforce house rules when needed. I love reading children's books and doing creative projects of all kinds. Trips to the park are high on my to-do list. I'm very Muni adept but love to walk too. I'm probably not nearly as tech-knowledgeable as an average 8 year old, but I do my best and am always mindful to respond to messages and inquiries quickly.... but I am by no means overly attached to my android. My eyes and attention are meant to be ON your child, not a screen. I am certified in CPR and AED for Adults, Children and Infants by the American Safety and Health Institute. I have been certified Best Auntie by my 5 nieces and nephew and I have the mug to prove it. One note - I do have a 2 hour minimum for bookings. Thank you!

My responsibilities have included driving to/ from school and activities, museum/ library/ parks visits, arts and crafts and help with school projects/ homework. My job also involves cooking/ cleaning after the kids and running errands for the families if need to. I’m originally from Brazil and I love traveling and learn new cultures. I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and I’m learning Italian. I can adapt and learn with ease. Currently I have a fix schedule with a couple of families and looking forward working with new amazing families either in a regular basis or occasionally. Open to last minute backup care if I’m available - i keep my calendar up to date. Hi! My name is Karina, I am a part time nanny, part time elementary school art teacher, and a part time musician. I’ve been nannying the same kids for 6 years now, and it’s my biggest joy. However; I’m looking for some occasional extra hours. Would love to help your family out and watch your kids so you can go out and enjoy a date night, or even give you just sometime to yourself. I have been babysitting and nannying kids for 15 years now, and nothing really makes me happier.

Hey 👋🏽 I’m Devin, a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with a unique background that blends professional leadership and hands-on childcare experience. I’ve spent the past few months coaching middle school basketball, where I mentor 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade girls and help them build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Before that, I honed my leadership and organizational skills over 9.5 years in the tech industry as a Product Support and Customer Care Manager. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve spent over four years as a Camp Coach and Gym Director at Legarza Sports Camps, working with children of all ages to foster their growth and development in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I was also the JV Head Coach at Marin Catholic High School for two years, further solidifying my ability to connect with kids and teens while encouraging them to reach their full potential. Beyond my formal roles, I’m often the go-to babysitter for friends and family, caring for children from infancy to their teenage years. I bring a warm, caring, and engaging personality that puts people of all ages at ease, so much so that even strangers feel comfortable sharing their stories with me. Whether working with kids, teens, or seniors, I approach caregiving with empathy, patience, and a sense of fun. I love creating meaningful connections and tailoring my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. From planning engaging activities for children to offering companionship and support to seniors, I take pride in making those I care for feel valued and comfortable. I bring a diverse set of skills, including cooking, cleaning, basketball training, and even website consulting, but I’m always open to discussing and adapting to meet the unique needs of your loved ones. If you’re looking for someone who combines reliability, kindness, and a natural ability to connect, I’d be honored to help care for your loved ones 🤗

Hey there, wonderful families! I'm Tiffany, a seasoned nanny eager to dive back into the wonderful world of childcare. With years of experience and a loving attitude I am ecstatic to bring my expertise and love to your little ones. I'm on the lookout for some fresh nanny opportunities this year! Back in college, I had an amazing time working full-time as a nanny and caregiver. I possess considerable expertise in caring for children ranging from infants to mature teens. While interacting with children, I embrace a playful demeanor and am unafraid to engage in lighthearted antics. Balancing enjoyment with safety remains my utmost priority. Flexibility is my middle name—I'm game for full-time or part-time gigs, with a sprinkle of wiggle room in the schedule. Plus, I come equipped with wheels, a valid license, and a knack for navigating pick-ups and drop-offs. Thank you for stopping by my profile I hope we can get in touch and I am the sitter you are looking for, have a great day. -Tiffany

Hello there, I've gone through CPR courses at the Red Cross and was a lifeguard at the YMCA as well as worked as a Camp counselor for a children's musical acting camp and the YMCA sports camp. Also involved in the infant area of the Y. I was a nanny for a family while home in Florida 2[removed], still in touch with their(my) little girl! Open to all ages, I'm used to working with ages from infants - 15 years old, as I was a night nurse for infants in college. As for toddlers, I am very involved with helping with motor skills, speech, and overall having a great time playing. For grade school, I help with reading, science, and writing. I have ADHD and numerical dyslexia so I am familiar with the challenges your child might experience. I am able to cook and clean, very comfortable with a kitchen. My favorite night is making a snack board and watching a fun movie or playing restaurant! PETS I have been a life-long lover of animals, I personally have two Brussels Griffons and a beautiful freshwater fish tank. I grew up with dogs, cats, rodents, and fish. *References upon request.
