Hi.. I’m Colleen. I am a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 plus yrs, 22 yrs were with Duke University Medical Center. I have two grown kids of my own and they are very awesome adults. My career goal was to teach children k through 3rd grade, however, my life took a different direction that has served me well, the medical field. I come from a large family of seven sibs, this helped shape who I am today. I am a 67 yr young, caring, gentle, fun, dependable single woman who has much to offer with my love for kids and look forward to assisting you with yours!

My experience → I have 7+ years experience as a nanny/babysitter. I previously studied early childhood & I am in nursing school. I have my first aid, CPR, and my nursing assistant certification. I also worked in a daycare for a year and a half so I have experience with multiple children. I have 100+ reviews from past + current families you may check out as well. What I do → I am available for backup care, occasional care (to run errands, go to the gym, or just have some time away from kids!) or date night care. Duties I do → I am comfortable with taking children to the park, nature center, pool, etc. I can also do bath and bedtime routine, along with prepping basic meals and feeding routines. My schedule books on a first come first serve basis and I have a cancellation policy I enforce as well.
