Hello! My name is Shelley - I’m an experienced sitter/nanny and communications professional with a master’s in creative writing from Oxford. In my free time, I am a singer, performer, and avid fan of classic film. I've been involved in childcare from a very young age, including as a daytime nanny when I was working as an actress full-time, and an evening and weekends babysitter throughout college and beyond. I have experience with all ages, from infants to teens, and I have frequently worked with multiple children. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

I have been working professionally with children for over 9 years and have babysat children between the ages of 1 month and 13 years. I have experience with date night sitting, and morning and after school pick up. Responsibilities include travel to and from after school activities, indoor and outdoor play time, meal preparation, homework help, bath time supervision and help, and bedtime supervision. Regarding infants and toddlers, there were additional responsibilities such as feeding and burping, diaper changing, and safely putting the infant to sleep. I also completed light household chores, such as putting away leftover toys and organizing play spaces, cooking, washing dishes, sweeping floors, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area. I have overseen children during play dates and birthday parties, and am comfortable with babysitting multiple children at once. I always recognize the importance of keeping children mentally and physically challenged. I believe that I have the awareness to teach children how to fix and learn from their mistakes in a way that they will understand while maintaining an environment that is fun and safe. Distance is no problem for me, since I have a driver’s license and a car, and I am willing to add a child car seat to travel with children. I love working with pets, and have professionally walked and cared for dogs for over 4 years and cats for over 11 years. I have cared for dogs and cats for both short term (1-2 days) and long term (7+ days) periods, and can care for your pets while babysitting if needed, as well as when you are away from home. I am available for last minute gigs and am flexible working longer hours or morning/weekend hours. Babysitting is a difficult yet rewarding line of work. It requires a unique kind of problem solving that allows me to interact with children in the way my babysitters interacted with me. I believe that I am the living example of the quote "It takes a village to raise a child". To me, there’s nothing more unifying and empowering than that-- participating in the ‘village’ of individuals to help promote the growth of a child. As I learn more about myself and follow my dreams, I am always delighted for the opportunity to push children to follow theirs.

Hi there! I'm Lily. I'm 29 and was born and raised here in Los Angeles. I graduated from Barnard College in 2019 with a BA in American Studies and Film Studies. While in college, I was a sitter for the Barnard Babysitting Agency and for my work study, was an assistant teacher at Tompkins Hall Nursery. From the agency, I gained experience with all age groups ranging from two months to sixteen years old. Most of my jobs were usually taking care of at least two children at a time. At Tompkins, I mainly worked in the infant and toddler rooms where I played with the children, prepared bottles and meals, changed diapers, and cleaned the classrooms. I also spent some time helping out in the preschool and two's rooms. Right after undergrad I worked at We Rock the Spectrum for a few months (then the pandemic hit), which was a blast. After I finishing my MFA in Game Design at Laguna College of Art and Design in 2021, I spent a couple of years traveling around Europe and spent a lot of my time back in the states in Montana. At the end of 2023 I decided to start babysitting again. However, most of my kids have transitioned into preschool so I am now open to working with some new families. Additionally, I spent four weeks this summer working with kids ages 7-13 at UCLA's Bruins on Broadway camp which was a lot of fun! I am currently taking classes as a post-bacc student at the University of Montana with the hope of applying to medical school in 2026. Some random facts about me: I have two younger sisters (twins), four cats, and two dogs. I used to ride horses, play soccer, and cheer. And I love history, theater, and reading!

Hello! My name is Tesla. I am 29 years old and have worked in childcare on and off for the last 9 years. During those years I have amassed a diverse array of childcare experience in Utah, California, Hawaii, and New York. I have assisted families with relaxed lifestyles who just need an extra hand, as well as families who require lots of extra assistance and operate with fast-paced schedules in large cities. The bonds I have forged working in childcare have changed my life. I would love to help you and your family!

Hello! I’m bilingual (English/ Spanish) and nannied for 3 years, throughout college. I have also babysat children of all ages for >10 years. I love arts and crafts, cooking, and being outdoors. I can help with light household chores if needed. When I’m not babysitting, you can find me at my day job, volunteering at my community garden, or hanging out with friends. My rates are negotiable and depend on the level of care / responsibility needed. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!
Hi! My name is Ariana and I’m a responsible and energetic caregiver with years of hands-on experience working with kids in a variety of settings. I’ve spent summers at a relaxed arts and crafts camp for children ages 7–13, leading creative projects, outdoor games, and group activities. I’ve also coached youth soccer for kids ages 3–12, focusing on teamwork, fun, and skill-building. During high school, I worked as a certified lifeguard for four years, which taught me strong safety awareness and emergency readiness — qualities I bring to every caregiving role. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve regularly cared for younger family members and love connecting with kids through creativity, sports, and play. I’m currently finishing my degree at Barnard College of Columbia University, where I’ve continued to nurture my love for learning and teaching. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or just being a calm and supportive presence, I aim to make kids feel safe, seen, and engaged. Above all, I strive to be as helpful as possible to the families I work with. I’m dependable, patient, and always ready to support in whatever way I can.

I have several years of childcare and child development experience through volunteer, leadership, and internship roles. As Head of the Junior Committee at The Child Development Centre, I helped support teaching, structured activities, and volunteer training for children with special education needs. I also completed a Developmental Psychology Internship there, where I observed clinical psychologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and SEN teachers, and helped with child assessment materials. Additionally, I have volunteered at Saviour Lutheran School, assisting with English instruction and educational activities for underprivileged children with developmental and cognitive disabilities. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, and comfortable supporting children with different learning styles and needs.
