$35 per hour for 1 child

Hello, parents! My name is Sara. I am a nanny and early childhood educator with nearly 20 years of experience in private childcare. I live near Prospect Park in Brooklyn and work full time with a family on the UWS. I’ve been their nanny for the past 10 years. I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music with an emphasis on early childhood development and child psychology. While working towards my degree, I taught in the two year old and three year old programs in a local preschool, and served as the music director at a Boston Gymboree. I am a huge believer in child-led play, respectful discipline, and nourishing the imagination. I have availability for babysitting on weekends, late nights, and occasionally when my nanny family travels. I try to keep my calendar up to date to reflect open availability. If you have any questions, please feel free to message!

Warm, attentive, experienced nanny devoted to your little ones. Hello parents! My name is Beata. I’m an Indonesian-born US citizen with more than 13 years of experience caring for children. These days my heart is with the littlest ones, and I love to begin with babies around 8-14 months and grow alongside them through toddlerhood, usually until they start preschool. I first started nannying in Boston in the mid-1980s, while studying music and photography in college. After spending two decades working as a photographer, in 2017 I returned to caregiving full time as a deliberate choice. I’ve loved every minute since. I tend to stay for the long term and become part of the family. Many of the families I’ve worked with stay in touch for years, long after my regular days with their children have ended. That kind of lasting bond is exactly what I hope for. I have a deep and genuine interest in how young children grow, and over the years I've built a real, hands-on understanding of early development. I'm a curious, thoughtful person who loves learning, and I bring that same engaged, attentive mind to your child's care. I bring undivided presence when I’m with your child. I watch them closely, following their lead, and noticing the small signals that tell me what they needs before they have the words for it. When a little one is upset, my instinct is to meet them calmly and warmly, so distress is always responded with kindness. I believe in helping children learn that feelings are safe to have. I find such joy in being part of these early years. I love to take little ones for walks, sing and read to them, and encourage curiosity through play and gentle, open-ended creative activities. People describe me as gentle, grounded, reliable, organized, and happy to keep a calm, tidy home. I’m physically fit and active, and I love being on the move with little ones. Outside of work I read widely, study languages & cultures, and take photographs. I’m bilingual in English-Indonesian, with basic Spanish and French. I bring an artist’s eye into the way I play and create with children. I have never owned any pet but have been very comfortable working in households with dogs. If you’re hoping to find someone who will become a warm, steady, loving presence in your child’s early years, I’d love to hear from you! Best, Beata

Hi! I recently moved back to Los Angeles from Texas and am looking to connect with some wonderful families! I’ve been nannying for the past 7 years and have experience caring for kids of all ages. I’m kind, easy-going, creative, and love keeping kids engaged—whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, helping with homework, or coming up with fun crafts and activities. I’m currently looking for part-time and occasional babysitting opportunities, including date nights and weekend help. My schedule is pretty flexible while I’m still in school and growing my career in the creative arts, so I’m happy to work around different schedules and needs. Looking forward to meeting you and your family 🌹

$28 per hour for 1 child

Hello everyone! My name is Kamila and I have been living in NYC for a little over 6 years. I moved here after going to music school in Boston. I’m a singing songwriter and work within arts administration/operations. Since moving to the city, I have worked with children ages 3 to 11, and I’ve learned so much. I enjoy fostering a sense of creativity and playfulness in the kids I get to hang with, and I’ve also taught beginner piano lessons for families around NYC and Brooklyn. I also have been petsitting/housesitting for doggies and kitties on the east and west coasts of the US and abroad over the last 3-4 years. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your family :)

Hi there! My name is Jenny and I am originally from Seattle but I lived in Boston for 10 years and now in Brooklyn for the last 3 years. I am a professional vocalist and perform for high end wedding and events in the city and country. Caring for others and making someone else's day or week a little bit easier makes me happy. I want to live in a world where people are caring, emphatic, and create real connections with each other. I've been baby sitting and helping others since I was a kid - I nannied for 2 boys in Newton, MA for about a year after college (ages 2 and 6). Any after school pickup, homework help, and dinner help - I'm your girl! If your child is at all interested in music, I would love to be a part of that. I love all animals and I feel comfortable cleaning, cooking, and driving. I have a clean driving record, a safe car (subaru) and a caring bubbly demeanor. I haven't been in childcare for a while because I've been professionally singing most of the time but I love the brooklyn community and figured I could get involved again in my own neighborhood.
