***Update: Please message me for availability- the calendar on here is rarely updated. Thank you! :-) ************************************************************** Hello! I'm a Bay Area native and I was a childcare provider and nanny for over 10 years in San Francisco before I began my teaching certification program. I really enjoy working with families and still keep in close contact with the last family I worked with. In the past, I've also worked for the Y.M.C.A. as a coach and teacher for children in their camp program. I love doing arts and crafts activities, and going on outside adventures with kids to parks, museums (California Academy of Sciences is a great one!), and libraries. Most of my past jobs working with families were referrals from other families I worked with, so this is my first time using an online site to apply for positions. My certifications are in Special Education EC-12th grade, E.S.L. EC-12th grade, English Language Arts and Reading 7th-12th grade, and General Education EC-6th grade. While working on my credential I completed internship hours in an elementary school classroom working with children on the Autism Spectrum. My experience in the internship was so inspiring that I decided to make Special Education a focus in teaching. I'm taking this semester off from teaching so I’m mostly tutoring, but also available for occasional babysitting. I really enjoy babysitting because it gives me the opportunity to be creative, no matter what age the child is, with play and learning activities. As an Educator, I am passionate about incorporating play into education to make learning accessible for every child. My schedule isn’t usually updated on the app, so please feel free to send me a message inquiring about a date. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Reese

$27 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m a former Pre-K/K teacher, graduate student, and yoga teacher with 6 years of experience working with young children classrooms, homes, and after-school settings. I love creating safe, playful environments where kids can be themselves, build confidence, and explore their interests. I’ve worked with children of different ages and developmental needs, including those who benefit from additional social-emotional and behavioral support. I’m comfortable with school pickups, homework, meals, routines, and outdoor activities. I love reading, creative play, music, yoga, and getting outside. I value building trusting, consistent relationships with children and their families. I’m CPR/First Aid/AED certified and happy to provide references. I look forward to connecting!

$32 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Natalie and I am currently attending graduate school online. I adore kids and have over 10 years of childcare experience across nannying, daycare, mentoring youth in foster care, and as a Crisis Counselor at a mental health program for teens. I truly enjoy working with any age group, with the majority of my experience being with ages 2-17. My favorite thing about working with younger kids is getting to witness their imagination and creativity, and for older kids, I love to witness them come into their true identity as they find their place in the world. While my personal approach to childcare is inspired in part by the RIE technique (which emphasizes respect, emotional attunement, independence, and allowing children space for authentic exploration and unstructured play), I have had the opportunity to work with such diverse families that I tend to begin my approach by asking the specific family I am working with what their needs are and what they are wanting from me, as I have received very different answers to those questions over the years! However, I do value time outdoors, limited screen time, and self-directed play. In addition to childcare, I also have extensive experience caring for pets, including cats and dogs, and can hold other tasks such as household chores, errands, transportation, meal prep, homework help, and organization as needed. Families I have worked with often describe me as patient, dependable, communicative, and highly intuitive with children. I genuinely enjoy building meaningful long-term relationships with both kids and parents, and creating environments where children feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves!

Aisha $45 per hour for 1 child

Hi families, I’m Aisha, a child therapist, expressive arts practitioner, and lifelong caregiver with decades of experience supporting children, teens, families, animals, plants, and community. My approach is caring, connective, attuned, expressive, and deeply imaginative. I specialize in helping children feel safe, engaged, emotionally supported, and genuinely seen. I love integrating art, nature, imagination, sensory play, emotional regulation tools, and gentle structure into time spent together. In addition to my clinical background, I’m also an artist and huge animal lover, so I’m very comfortable in homes with pets and happy to help care for furry family members too. Families often describe me as both gentle and strong, nurturing, attentive, intuitive, and highly trustworthy. I’m especially skilled with sensitive, creative, neurodivergent, queer, or emotionally expressive children, and I value building authentic relationships with both kids and parents. Available for babysitting, caregiving support, creative engagement, school pickups, evening care, and pet-friendly households. Looking forward to connecting 🌿
