I have 3 years of babysitting experience and have always loved creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids. Most recently, I've worked at The Little Gym for over a year and a half, where I've helped children ages 1-12 build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun through movement and play. In high school, I also spent 2 years in Crossage P.E., where I traveled to a local elementary school to teach P.E. to 1st and 2nd graders. As a first-year college student, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and responsibility to care giving. I'm very protective, dependable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with children of all ages. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, keeping routines on track, or simply being a positive role model, I love being someone kids feel safe and excited to be around. In addition to childcare, I'm also very comfortable caring for animals. I've grown up around fish, large and small dogs, cats, reptiles, and even insects, so I'm confident working with a wide variety of pets. During my previous babysitting jobs, I regularly helped with household chores and cleaning, and I also prepared meals for the families I worked with. I'm always willing to help around the house however I can. I also have my own car and a valid driver's license, which allows me to commute reliably and provide transportation if needed.
I am a college student who is majoring in Child and Adolescent Development and minoring in Psychology. I enjoy working with kids, and I am comfortable working with infants and toddlers aged 1 year and older. I volunteered at Children's Paradise, where I worked with infants. I did that from March to April. I have watched pets before, and I have a dog, and I have watched cats before too, so I love animals. I love taking care of kids because they deserve to be in a comfortable environment, and I think kids are great to be around. I am a kind, respectful person, and I care about what I do.
Hi families! My name is Jazmin, and I’m a senior completing my bachelor’s degree at California State University San Marcos. I’ve been caring for children informally for friends and family my entire life, and over the past year, I’ve served as a reliable backup babysitter for a wonderful family in Del Mar. In addition to private babysitting, I completed an internship at Palomar Hospital’s Children’s Development Clinic, working alongside specialists to enrich developmental play and support milestone growth. My caregiving experience also extends to personal family care, making me highly responsible, attentive, and confident in handling strict medication routines, meal prep, bedtime wind-downs, and general household errands. Availability & Logistics: Because I am completing my university studies, my availability is open every evening after 6:00 PM as well as weekend date nights. I have my own safe, reliable transportation and am happy to travel throughout North County (Del Mar, Vista, San Marcos, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Escondido). I look forward to supporting your family and giving you complete peace of mind during your evenings out! References available upon request.
Hi, everyone! My name is Mikayla. I am currently a graduate student working towards my degree in occupational therapy in hopes of working in pediatrics! I've began professionally working with children in 2018 in child-care settings ages 2 months-12 years old. I then transitioned to working in ABA for kiddos 1 years-12 years old in a multitude of placement settings (school, in-home, and clinics). I am also the oldest of 5 siblings and like to say that caregiving comes naturally to me. What I enjoy the most about my work is being able to develop relationships with kiddo and the family to where work no longer feels like work! At the end of the day, it's all about collaborating with parents in understanding how to provide the best care for their kiddo and being that source of support. In my free time, I love staying active. I play tennis, go the gym, and occasionally will go on hikes! I look forward to meeting you and the rest of the family!
Hi! My name is Savannah, and I’m a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology who is working toward becoming a labor and delivery nurse. I have a strong passion for caring for children and supporting families, especially during early childhood and newborn stages. I am CPR certified and currently volunteer at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, where I assist in a clinical environment focused on maternal and infant care. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I’m comfortable following routines, providing attentive supervision, and supporting families with dependable care. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide attentive, reliable care you can feel confident in.
