Hello! I’ve been providing childcare for a range of ages in the District for over 15 years. I am a social worker, artist, and love to be outside. I am high energy and find hanging out with children and entertaining them to be so much fun! I am very comfortable with animals as well, I love dogs! Currently I have some families I provide dog sitting for in their homes when they go on trips. I volunteer at an animal sanctuary farms and rescue shelters, comfortable with all types of animals. I use this app to connect with families to build good working relationships, and many families I currently work with have worked with me for many years. Unfortunately I cannot offer full time child care, but I am a great option for date nights or weekends.

I am a DC professional, and babysitting is my favorite side gig. I have been a babysitter since high school, caring for children of all ages with a friendly attitude. From this, I have the ability and willingness to change diapers, enforce bedtime, prepare food for picky eaters, and listen to the same story on repeat. Plus, I always come prepared with games, jokes, and a card trick or two. I’ve also tutored (ESL, German, and reading) off and on over the years and come from a family of teachers. NO CATS (I am allergic) but I love dogs and other animals.

Hello, My name is Izzy and I have been nannying for over a decade. I have A LOT of young nieces and nephews but beyond that, I’ve been working in childcare since I was a teenager. I like to make it a point early on to let my families know that I’m always willing to work on price points, my priority is a comfortable arrangement for everyone. I’ve volunteered and worked at a few summer camps in Los Angeles, I have experience nannying children from age 0-11, including special needs, over night stays, school pickup, meal prep, tutoring, light housework, multi child households, and many other aspects of childcare. I’m looking for part time work but I am super flexible! Ideally, I would love to find one family that I work for weekly with a set schedule.

I have worked in the professional nanny industry for close to fifteen years. Before that, I worked as an occasional babysitter and camp counselor. I’m certified in first aid and infant/child/adult CPR. I have an undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies (social science concentration) from The Catholic University of America. As well as a graduate certificate in human services from Wilmington University. I’m a patient and empathetic person. I think children have a contagious sense of wonder and happiness. They truly make the world a better place. I’m currently looking for occasional babysitting jobs outside my regular nanny position. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I’m a 20-year-old psychology major and a caring, dependable college student with hands-on experience working with children of different ages. I currently babysit for two families — one with children ages 7 and 10, and another with children ages 3 and 5 — and I’ve also worked in school settings with toddlers, so I’m very comfortable with routines, safety, and different developmental stages. I love creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids feel happy and cared for. I help with homework, meals and snacks, bedtime routines, and keeping children on schedule. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, and games with kids. I’m also comfortable with pet care and light household help. Families appreciate that I’m reliable, patient, and easy to communicate with, and I truly enjoy building trusting relationships with both parents and children.

Hi, I'm Grace! I've been in DC for over 10 years and have always enjoyed doing occasional babysitting jobs while also working full-time. When I'm not working at a museum in DC where my work includes overseeing educational exhibits, field trips, and teacher content, I can be found walking my dog or visiting my nephews. I truly enjoy spending time with children and working with families over time to understand each personality and need. I have a range of experience from infant to school-aged as well as children with special needs. I'm here to help when you need the occasional day or night off.

From soccer games in the park to cozy story time at home, I’ve been caring for children since I was 16 — including wonderful experiences supporting nonverbal autistic kids. I bring energy, patience, and creativity to every day, whether it’s making crafts, building Lego sets, or keeping kids engaged with fun activities. I studied at The Catholic University of America, and at home I share life with my curious cat, Charlotte, who keeps me on my toes just like the kids I babysit. My goal is to create a safe, happy, and exciting environment where children feel cared for and look forward to our time together!

I have a Degree in Primary Education, an NCTVET HEART Certification in Early Childhood Education, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. With over a decade of experience as a teacher and as a professional nanny, I have cared for children of different ages and developmental stages, supporting their learning, routines, and growth in a safe and nurturing environment. Caregiving is my passion because I love building meaningful connections and creating spaces where children feel loved, encouraged, and confident. Outside of caregiving, I enjoy reading, crafting, and spending quality time with family, which I often incorporate into fun and engaging activities with the children I care for.
