Hi! My name is Maya! I am a second year college student on a nursing track! I am currently taking my prerequisites and I hope to become a labor and delivery nurse one day! I am offer childcare, pet care, and household services! I am a former daycare assistant! I mainly worked with kids ages 0-4 but I also spent time with elementary school children! I have been through lots of medical training in high school. I am also safe sleep certified and have taken courses on early childhood development and enrichment as well as other courses totaling over 12 hours of training in childcare. I have pet sat before and have a cat and a leopard gecko of my own currently but I grew up with pets! I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rats, bunnies, chickens, reptiles, and guinea pigs. I have experience with ill and disabled dogs and cats. I love to clean and find it very relaxing especially when it’s deep cleaning! I also love doing household chores, running errands, and cooking, I even have a food handlers card! I have my own reliable and fully insured car, an unrestricted drivers license, and a completely clean driving record! I’ve never even gotten a parking ticket! I’ve been a nurse for over twenty years with experience in pediatric urgent care and labor and delivery. Before this, I was a manager of a daytime program for people with developmental disabilities. I worked in this field for approximately 15 years. In addition, I also worked in a facility for elderly adults; ADL’s, end of life care, and medication assistance. I’ve dabbled in insurance, accounting, and other jobs.
