Meet college nannies and sitters from Coastal Carolina University

Hello families! I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am in college studying for my finance degree from home looking for a childcare job. I find joy in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. One of the experiences that has shaped my passion for childcare is my time working at an aftercare program for a private school called St. John the Evangelist in Silver Spring Maryland. My coworker and I cared for 20 children ages 2-5 daily after school. This role allowed me to interact with children of various ages and backgrounds. It was incredibly rewarding to see the children grow and develop under my care. In addition to my work at the aftercare program, I have several years of experience in babysitting and tutoring. I worked for a family with 3 kids for a year daily ages 5-11. I have also worked for 8 months with a family with 2 boys ages 3 and 5. I am also employed with Aristotle circle tutors and have worked at group homes and with clients tutoring children of all ages and tutored multiple subjects. These experiences have taught me how to connect with children on an individual level, understanding their unique interests and needs. I believe that building a strong rapport with kids is essential in creating a positive and enjoyable sitting experience. I not only prioritize their safety and well-being, but I also enjoy engaging them in fun and educational activities. Whether it's playing games, doing crafts, or helping with homework, I strive to make each moment meaningful and enjoyable.
