Hello! I am currently a special education extensive needs Para Educator in a middle school SPED classroom with the Sacramento County of Education (SCOE). I have 5 years experience as a lead preschool teacher. I worked as a French immersion preschool teacher at the International School of San Francisco, where I work with kids between 4-5 years old. This is a Prek-12th French immersion IB school. I have experience as a French immersion preschool teacher at Au Beau Séjour French Preschool in Oakland, working with ages 3-4. I have experience as a Preschool Teacher at Acorn to Oak in Sacramento, working with ages 3-5. This school followed Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf philosophies. I have nanny / babysitting experience with ages 6mo - 10 (I have experience babysitting 1 - 4 child families). I grew up with younger twin siblings that I loved helping taking care of. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have 43.5 Early Childhood Education Units with a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art and am passionate about art and creativity, which I find very valuable when working with kids. I love nature (I have chickens, a turkey and rabbits at home).
