$35 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! I’m a Duke University & HBS graduate with 15+ years of experience caring for children from newborns through elementary age in both caregiving and educational settings (tutoring in Montessori school settings). I believe every child is unique, with their own temperament, routines, interests, and ways of communicating. My approach is to meet each child where they are, pay close attention to what helps them feel secure and engaged, and adapt my care to support their individual needs and development 🌱 I’m CPR and First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, and highly attentive to health and safety. I also have experience caring for infants and toddlers with severe allergies, including following EpiPen and emergency-response protocols. I offer occasional family support in San Francisco alongside my full-time career. I genuinely love partnering with families and supporting kids as they learn and grow through each stage of their development! 🤍 * Mission-based * Not available for full-time care

I have been working with kids since I was 15 years old, in both care-taking and teaching roles. In addition to babysitting, I am open to cooking, tutoring, and pet-sitting. I have my own car and a clean driving record. Update: I am not currently accepting requests.

$26 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Dalia, and I’m excited to meet you! I just moved to Boulder from LA to get my Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at CU. I’ve been working with kids since I was 16 years old, and I studied child policy in college. I have been babysitting for 10+ years, and I have experience with a range of ages, including under 1 year-olds. At this point, I’ve worked with over 20 different families, and I’ve developed great relationships with many of them and their children :) I’m happy to help with schoolwork, and I love arts and crafts. For older kids, I love to bake treats with them, and I’m happy to cook for your family or your kids! I know CPR, some Spanish, and am fluent in American Sign Language. I have a cat and have lived with a dog, so I’m comfortable around pets, and happy to take care of them as well!

$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Astrid (she/her), and I'm from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I lived in North Carolina for 6 years, first for my undergraduate degree and later for my occupational therapy doctorate. As part of my OT training, I’ve been on rotations in Seattle and Baltimore over the last 6 months. I’m now in Philadelphia for my capstone project, and I am offering childcare and elder care services. I started babysitting as a teenager, and have had the privilege to meet the most wonderful, caring, and special families throughout my childcare experience. I started working with older adults in 2024, and I am beyond grateful for the time, stories, and joy I’ve been able to share across generations.

Mikayla $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my caregiving journey started at a young age between me and my four siblings. Growing up as the oldest of five, with a single mom who had me at 18, caregiving had been an essential part of my life that has shaped me into the young adult I am today. I have an extensive experience with managing the day-to-day upkeep of newborns and toddlers, as well as engaging with curiosity and emotional outbursts of children and teenagers alike.

Melinda $40 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm Melinda and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in Berkeley who recently graduated from Duke University. My husband and I just moved to the area and I am waiting for my full time job to start. I am looking to build some relationships with local families to earn some extra income. I love kids and have worked with kids for 10+ years in various settings. From the early days of babysitting my neighbor, to lifeguarding, to being a summer camp counselor, and for the past decade caring for kids and families has become my profession. I have experience with all age ranges and am BLS/ CPR certified. I am a board certified family nurse practitioner and registered nurse in the state of California. I have previously held certifications in neonatal, infant, and pediatric emergency settings. I have broad availability on the weekends and some availability on weeknights. I'd love to connect to see if we are a good fit!

I am a responsible and caring Duke University student with experience working with children in academic and recreational settings. I enjoy helping kids feel safe, supported, and engaged, whether that means assisting with homework, reading together, playing outside, or keeping daily routines on track. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to each child's needs. My background in education has strengthened my interest in child development and effective communication with both children and parents. I am also organized, punctual, and comfortable managing schedules, bedtime routines, and light household tasks related to child care. I aim to create a calm, positive environment where children can learn, play, and feel comfortable.

Paige $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm a nurse who's currently looking for intermittent baby-sitting for date nights, errands, emergencies, etc. I've been a NICU nurse for 4 years and prior to that was a full time nanny for 5 years. I also babysat throughout most of middle school, high school, and parts of college. Most of my recent experience is from newborn to three years of age, but I do have experience with older children as well. I love infants and toddlers because they have such wonder and awe for the world around them and it's a special experience to watch and engage with their development and growth. I'm gentle, engaging, empathetic, and sympathetic in my care and avoid screen time when with the children. I love taking children to parks, museums, play dates, etc., but also just as happy to play games and read stories at home. I won't be able to have regularly scheduled gigs as my work schedule changes week by week, but would love to find a family or families to develop a longer term baby-sitting relationship with, as I feel continuity is better for both the children and the carers. I am also BLS and NRP certified. Thanks!
