Hi! My name is Hailey, and I am currently wrapping up my first year as a Kindergarten teacher in Canton, MI. I absolutely love what I do and enjoy working with children of all ages. I am looking for a part-time opportunity during the summer months while I am off from school, and I would love to support a family who needs extra help. I have experience working with children from 3 months old through 5th grade, and I especially enjoy caring for infants. Last winter, I worked with a wonderful family in Ann Arbor caring for their 5-month-old daughter for about 6 months. After that, I was lucky enough to help another amazing family during the summer with their infant daughter as well. I also worked for two years in a childcare center where I truly fell in love with babies and toddlers while in college. These experiences have helped me become very comfortable with feeding, bottles, diapering, nap schedules, and all of the daily routines that come with infant care. I truly enjoy building strong connections not only with the children I care for, but also with their families. My goal is always to make your life easier in any way I can. I am happy to help with light household chores, meal prep, errands, organizing, walking pets, and keeping things tidy. I also take care of all baby-related tasks such as preparing bottles, cleaning and sanitizing, baby laundry, diaper changes, restocking supplies, and anything else needed to keep your little one happy and safe. I would describe myself as patient, reliable, nurturing, and very organized, and I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for the children I work with. Hi, I have been working with children for 12 years. I was a lead pre K teacher at a school based child care center for 6years, I assisted children ages 3years old up until 6years old. I transitioned from teaching to nannying for a family I met at my former job as pre k lead teacher. I have experience with picking up dropping off children to school and to extracurricular activities as well as homework help and I assisted family during summer vacation, taking children swimming, to the park. I also designed summer reading plan for children over the summer so they could go back to school and excel with extra reading in the summer. I am very experienced in educating children in reading, science, and math. I loved both of my experiences. I am currently pursuing a career as a pediatric occupational therapist.
