Hi, I’m originally from New York but I’ve lived in the Seattle area for over 24 years. I have a background in early childhood education and have worked previously as a preschool teacher with children ages 2.5-7 years old. I’m passionate about many different educational philosophies and taught primarily in a Montessori inspired classroom. I have a love of reading especially children’s literature and I have experience working in a library specifically in the children’s section. In addition to my teaching experiences I’ve also worked for many years at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Duvall, WA as a volunteer in lessons with children. I am *currently* a part-time substitute teacher in the greater Portland area. I've fulfilled a number of roles over the years, including full-time nanny, part-time sitter, a date night sitter, and personal assistant to the family. I have experience with full-time infant-care (transitioning to solid foods, preparing formula, etc), as well as balancing the routines of multiple children at once. I have been the "first babysitter" for kids with a range of ages, including baby, toddler, and early elementary. My love for working with children started when I was around 8 years old when my mother opened her own preschool. Since she opened her school I spent as much time as I could there, helping every summer during summer camps, brainstorming new craft ideas, and helping her make sure each day was fun and exciting for the children. Hi caregivers! My name is Dylan, and I’m currently looking for one-time jobs since I’m currently in graduate school! I am currently pursuing my Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College. I previously attended the University of Connecticut where I studied Communication Sciences and American Sign Language. My experience working with children started in 2022. In the summer of 2022, my first job was at a summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. It was an overnight camp where I also taught archery. Following that experience, I decided to pursue more experiences in childcare and was hired at an early care and education center that I worked at part time while at UConn. During winter and summer breaks I often babysat and dogsat for many families. I also have experience working at a children’s fitness club within the gym I used to go to in my hometown. My most recent experiences have been working with children 3-17 years old as a Teacher of the Deaf during the 2[removed] school year. So far, as a graduate student clinician I’ve worked with infants, toddlers and school-age children. I do not have much experience with seniors, however, my first job was working as a waiter at a retirement home!

Hi I'm Tess! I am a 24-year-old writer and an artist looking for a part time or flexible job. I grew up in a huge family and have been babysitting and taking care of kids for most of my life. I love kids and have experience with all ages. During Covid when schools were closed, I looked after my 2-year-old nephew while my sister and brother-in-law worked remotely. I helped supplement his learning with crafts, cooking, baking, and outdoor activities. I also helped guide and oversee homeschooling and remote learning for several families I worked for.
