Meet college nannies and sitters from Erikson Institute

Hi! My name is Emily and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from Pennsylvania, where I got my Bachelors in Rehabilitation and Human services from Penn State University. After moving to Chicago in 2017, I began teaching preschool and working as an aid for young children with disabilities. Shortly after, I decided to pursue my Masters in Social Work at Erikson Institute with a specialization in Early Childhood Mental Health. Since then, I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, partial hospitalization programs, and providing play therapy and parent coaching. I currently own my own psychotherapy practice where I provide individual therapy to adults who have experienced childhood/attachment trauma. Although it’s no longer part of my every day practice, I love working with children and seeing the world through their eyes!
