Hi there! My name is Cassandra (Cass for short!) and I’ve been exclusively nannying for 6 years with over 12 years total of childcare experience. I live in Oakland with my husband and our senior chihuahua, Wayward. Originally, I am from Newton, Massachusetts and went to college for Political Science. CPR and first aid certified.

Currently, I’m a Behavioral Aide in multiple school districts, mainly focusing on priority jobs from preschool to high school. I specialize with children that have an IEP and/or BIP. I do follow a positive discipline model as that’s important to me. If you have an infant, I know how hard it is to trust someone you don’t know. I’m 100% open to being on camera. I’m background checked, finger printed, clean driving record, all vaccines are current. Myself, I have two amazing daughters 9 and 14. I’ve been fortunate to be a stay at home Mom until they’ve no longer needed me (sigh, lol). I’m open to all jobs, even the last minute sick calls when you have to work. I did graduate from CNA school in October. I pride myself in adhering to the parents requests on what they want for their children.

Hi there, I’m Amaya! I’d like to describe myself as a patient and nurturing sitter. Children brighten up my day and i’d like to say I brighten up theirs as well. I’m still building my professional babysitting experience, however I’ve cared for children ages 4–7 on occasion (really enjoyed it) and have spent most of my life helping look after my younger sister (she’s two years younger than me, so I’ve mastered how to be attentive, dependable, and approach situations with a firm but gentle approach children of all ages) I may not have years of experience yet, but what I do have is patience, emotional awareness, and a natural ability to connect with kids and make them feel I love creating a calm, positive environment where children feel safe, heard, and comfortable being themselves. I am also extremely big on encouraging independence through younger children when it comes to problem solving, making appropriate decisions, and communication. A few things about me: - I prioritize safe, age-appropriate activities like: board games, dancing, walking, playground trips (I— as a 20 yr/old, thoroughly enjoy playing on the swings myself :), and makeup if you’ve got a doll you’d like to have in my care 🩷 - I’m CPR certified. - I’m a 3rd year undergraduate student. - I understand the importance of structure and consistency. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your child. I take that responsibility very seriously and would care for your child the same way I’d want someone to care for mine. Hi! I'm a former elementary educator. I taught first and fourth grade for 10 years before deciding a year ago to take some time away from the classroom. My experience with children extends from basic in-home child care, through tutoring, and teaching. All of my years in education were spent in general education inclusion classrooms, and I have experience working closely with students with a range of diagnoses and disabilities. I've cared for children of all ages, from infants and toddlers, to elementary aged and older. I am looking for part-time work on either a regular or one-time basis. I am comfortable with multiples as well as with special needs. I love doing arts & crafts, sports, reading, and spending time outdoors! I am happy to provide nannying references.
