Meet college nannies and sitters from Furman University

I am a retired teacher, having worked with middle and high schoolers in the area of Language Arts for 38 years. Currently, I am a nanny, a substitute teacher, and a tutor for elementary students. My life has been spent helping children learn and grow, to my great enjoyment. I have an M.Ed. in Reading Education and am a National Board Certified teacher since 2000. One of my proudest career moments was being chosen as WRAL's Teacher of the Week on Dec. 2, 2015. I am mother to four adult sons (two adopted from Russia) and a grandmother to three grandchildren, ages 1, 4, and 8. I have served as a foster parent through Children's Home Society; every child deserves a safe, loving home. I have completed Child and Baby First Aid/ CPR/AED training through the American Red Cross. I am fully vaccinated! My strong points are my patience, creativity, and energy. Yes, I consider myself a young 70 year old! I am a non- smoker, love pets, and have reliable transportation. I enjoy baseball, traveling, reading, hiking, and antiquing. My recent trips have included France, Ireland, Scotland, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, and South Dakota. Hi! My name is Jayna and I am a rising sophomore at Furman university I am majoring in health science on the pre occupational therapy track! I am home for the summer and have a strong passion for kids and would be happy to help you. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and was always trusted with all ages. My responsibilities have been driving to different activities, many hours at the park, making food, playing dress up and lots of crafts! I also adore all animals and have pet sit for several animals at once. I would be happy to help with household chores such as dishes laundry and much more. I have also been a caretaker for my grandparents and have a strong heart for senior care as-well. I am home in and out throughout the summer but would love to help out for date nights, work days, or just to give you a break!!
