Hi! I'm Libbie. I'm a full-time Jewish educator at a fantastic synagogue in the heart of Park Slope, and I'm looking for some part time summer work! As a teacher, I always say that my main goal is teaching joy. I want every child who enters my classroom to know that they belong, they are inherently worthy, that they are wanted. It's my favorite thing to see that knowledge light up a little one's smile. That philosophy carries through easily to all children under my care. Before becoming a teacher, I was a tutor and a nanny, so I'm used to the rhythms of home as well as the classroom! The most important thing to me is to make sure your kids are safe and happy. I'm also extremely musical! I'm in the process of applying to graduate school to become a cantor - I sing and play piano, flute, and guitar, and I love enchanting little ones with music! Hello - My name is Sara. I am a senior at Goucher College and I am offering part-time child care. I have been working in childcare for over 5 years with experience in private home, preschool, and school-age care. Having worked in schools, I am CPR and First Aide certified as well as having obtained a certification in 45-hour Childcare Growth and Development. I love babsitting and have worked with toddlers and kids since I was 13 years old. My responsibilities have included tutoring, making crafts, providing snack and pre made meals. I love working with pets especially dogs and cats. Unfortunetly, as much as I admire them I cannot work with reptiles or insects.
