Hi families, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Tamyia. I’m currently finishing my last semester for my in Human Services degree. I have 6 years of experience caring for kids of all ages and doing different routine routines for families. One of my favorite parts about babysitting is the relationships I get to build with both the children and their families. I really enjoy being someone families can rely on and helping out wherever I’m needed. I would describe myself as patient, creative, and easy to get along with. I love keeping kids engaged with outdoor activities, board games, and fun educational games. I always try to create a safe and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. I’m currently looking for a part-time position, and I’m also interested in transitioning into a full-time role over the summer where I can build a stronger, long-term connection with a family.

Hello! My name is Gabrielle but I prefer being called Gabby. and I’m currently a 3rd year at Guttman Community College. I am looking forward to working with children in child care. I love babysitting because it rewards fun ways to spend time with children and build a positive relationship and see them learn and grow. I also enjoy experiencing the world through a child’s curiosity that allows me to interact and socialize who they are. My experience in babysitting are meal/snacks preparation, assisting homework and activities, diaper changing/bathing, ensuring a safe environment for children and definitely communicating with their parent/guardian about the child’s progress how they are doing. I have worked in childcare for about 3+ years at a afterschool program for quite some time when was about 14-15 years old since 2018 is when I first started working with children in different schools but outside of that I have taken care of my 6 siblings throughout my childhood. I am willing to work with families who have pets!

Hello! I’m Skye and I’m a student at Guttman Community College studying early childhood education. I’ve been working as a nanny/babysitter for 2 years and working in a classroom setting with children for 3+ years. I’ve worked with children ages 4 months-9 years of age. I currently work at a Reggio Emilia philosophy Nursery school located in the UES, positioned as an assistant teacher for children ages ranging from 2 years old - 6 years old. I’m a CPR/ First Aid Certified.
