Hi I'm Hannah!. I'm a former preschool and kindergarten teacher, experienced sitter looking for a part time, weekend or occasional evening gig. I work in theatrical and live events. When not doing so, I support kiddos and their families. I am a licensed driver but am also happy to walk anywhere or use a subway. I’m CPR & first aid certified. I’m a recent Yale graduate with a masters degree in stage management. After working in a preschool during the pandemic, I worked in a Chicago area preschool classroom for almost two years in both the 2-12 month and 4 & 5 year old classrooms. In the spring of 2020; I graduated with a BA in early childhood, elementary education, and theatre. I am passionate and emphatic about viewing and valuing the child as a capable individual with a sense of agency. Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to work with kids of many different backgrounds, encouraging them to engage through a sense of play, confidence and individualism. My experiences as a teacher, nanny, facilitator and graduate professor and taught me about teamwork, collaboration, problem solving and I am not adverse to cleaning up Legos or Shopkins that litter your living room. Nor am I afraid of a dirty diaper or any other messes your little one may make. I am also experienced with children of all different needs and abilities.
Hello! I'm Tanya and I am a fun-loving, caring, knowledgeable and experienced caregiver that has been working with children since I babysat as a teenager. I started teaching at the elementary level right out of college. I taught until my second child was born. I raised three children with my husband in Sonoma County. When my children were of school age I started nannying for families with infants. My specialty is sleep training and helping babies and toddlers with schedules that work for their families. I went back to work in public schools as an instructional assistant in special education in 2020 which is where I am currently.
