Meet college nannies and sitters from Illinois Wesleyan University

Hello! My name is Sara and I am excited for this next phase of my life. My husband I have 2 sons we adore who are now in college. I have babysat and provided childcare starting at age 11, and throughout my professional life have always worked with children. From the daycare setting to the K-12 arena, I love children of all ages. Most recently, I have been a substitute teacher in Hilliard Schools. I have also spent time as a caregiver and advocate for seriously ill family members. It was my privilege to help care for them. I am compassionate, kind, reliable and trustworthy. I am a dancer artist, educator and have worked with children my entire adult life. I have over 30 years experience teaching children of all ages, including pre-school age all the way thru high school. I have taught at the college level as well, for many years as an adjunct faculty. During the pandemic I was a full time care giver for my elderly mother and discontinued all my teaching and creative projects. I recently moved back to Philadelphia, my home of 30+ years and I am looking for part-time work as I start up my free lance work again. I am 62, married with no children of my own. I have always loved working with children and now I have experience working with the elderly as well. I am a mature, playful, warm, creative, responsible and reliable person. I love being outside, games, physical and creative activity, arts and crafts and music. I am.organized and relaxed. I can be efficient and also easy going and flexible.
