I am currently in school studying social work because I am passionate about helping kids and making a positive impact in their lives. I’ve always loved being around children and have a natural ability to connect with them, whether through playing, listening, or guiding them. My goal is to support kids who may be facing challenges and ensure they have the resources and encouragement they need to thrive. I also enjoy helping people in general, especially those who need extra support in tough situations. Social work feels like the perfect path to combine my compassion, skills, and desire to make a difference.
I have tons of experience working with and living with children of all ages as well as elder and disabled individuals. Mental and physically challenged individuals as well. Recently my only son turned 18. I do have two younger step children who live in the household with me, they are 5 and 9. The 9yr old is artistic so I have experience in dealing these individuals as well. My last job was with a private owned care home. They have 4 different home locations I worked at all four at various times including over nights.. I love my clients to the moon and I have a special relationship with each of them and their families individually. I worked in daycare when my son was younger and actually didn't transition out of it until he went to elementary school. I've been a pre-school teacher.and my students excelled in every category and some were even advanced enough to actually skip kindergarten and start the first grade when they entered elementary school. Very proud of that. I also held the title Assistant to daycare director. I recently had my own privateHousekeepeing jobs that I did on my off days for extra income.. I was even a live in Au pair for a short while for a close friend....after that I did a lot of work as an Assistant store manager for a few major food chains. I absolutely love pets. I had a pitbull named Snoop and he was my most favorite person in the world. He thought he was human and sometimes I did too. Unfortunately he passed a few days before thanksgiving about 5 yrs ago due to a tumor and aging he was 15yrs old which is unheard of for his breed so he lived and very long life. Since then I have done some pet sitting for friends and family and even successfuly rehomed one pet. That was my first time ever attempting to do such and I'm happy to report that she is thriving and happy in her new forever home with lots of kids to love on her. I Absolutely Love what I do and I take pride in whatever task is at hand... even of its just being a listening ear or simply just being a help to others
