My name is Meitav and I have been working in child care for over 13 years! What started out as being a mother's helper to people in my community when I was 12 slowly graduated to nanny and babysitting gigs that I've done with families with various ages and needs up until today. I was a preschool teacher for 3 years for ages 4 and 5 and worked for 4 years as an after school teacher to K-1 students. I also worked as a Hebrew and English tutor for 3 years to kids ranging from kindergarten to 7th grade. I have worked with ages 5 months to 13 years old. I have experience working with kids with special needs and in houses with food allergies and kashrut laws. I can cook, bake, and clean, and while I do not have a car, I am comfortable transporting kids via the MTA! I studied painting in college and specialize in creating fun and engaging activities for kids of all ages that include the arts and other creative forms of expression. Please reach out!
Hi! I am on my third year as a full time elementary school art teacher for AACPS. I teach PreK-5th, though I teach primarily 3rd grade and under. I’m creative and fun. I love working with kids! Before working at AACPS, I worked at a private special education school for two years so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of personalities. I have a BFA in Painting and currently I am working on my teaching license since I am a conditional hire. Before teaching, I worked at M&T bank for two years but I left because banking is not really for me. I am a sensitive and creative soul. Selling credit cards and home equities was not bringing me joy. I am happy to say I have found a lot of fulfillment in working with my students. I also am a huge animal lover! I was a dog walker and animal care taker for Unleashed Baltimore for two years as well. I walked and cared for mostly cats and dogs, but there were a couple birds on the client roster.
Hi! I’m Mara, I’m a Rising junior at MICA for painting and their Masters in Teaching program to become a Art teacher. I’ve always loved kids and have known Ive always wanted to work with them for a career. I have 2 years of babysitting experience working. I also currently work at Cylburn nature camp and have for 2 summers now. I’ve spent most summers around kids and using my arts career to spread creativity. I also love animals and have had both dogs and cats of my own my whole life so I would love to work with families with pets!
