I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and for twins between the ages of 10 days old and 7 years old. I have cared primarily for newborns, infants and toddlers. I have worked for families with up to four children. One of the families I worked for had 2 sets of twins (preschool and early school-aged). However, my youngest two children do miss coming to work with me and would love to have the opportunity to accompany if you have children of similar ages & need last minute care on a weekend they are with me. I would describe my nannying/parenting style as positive parenting/connection based parenting, which is evidence based. I believe in the importance of acknowledging a child's emotions and teaching them how to appropriately handle their emotions. I have taken many childhood continuing education classes and a few child psychology classes. My cancellation policy is as follows with any booking: 100% of booking fee to be paid by a family if cancelling with less than 24 hours notice. 4 hour minimum booking fee to be paid if cancelling within 24 to 48 hours of a booking.

I am a fun, caring, God-fearing, trustworthy individual. I come from a Christian background and a big family. I’m currently a Montessori lead teacher and I’ve been in a lead role for a year and a half. Prior to that, I’ve been nannying for 2 years in home before switching to an early childhood center. I recently had a baby girl April 2024, I love my job, but I’m looking to become an independent home caregiver to create a more intentional and focused environment. I’m an active member of my church, and when I’m not at church, I am at family events or at home with my family! Hi, care seekers! I'm a college degreed grandmother of 6 precious humans, and I'm a naturally caring, empathetic person. My BA is in a social services major, and I've worked both personally and professionally with adults, teens, and all ages of littles. I am patient, have that special "grandma energy," and can do everything from sing songs with your toddler to assisting your adolescent to make sense of that hard essay. As a good, health-aware cook, I can prep your ingredients for dinner (who doesn't need a sous chef?), or prepare the whole thing for the family, so you can come home to a hot meal, if that's what makes your life easier! Let me throw the laundry in the machine, load the dishwasher, iron your work shirts (does anyone do that anymore?), water the plants, get the mail, give your kiddo his snack, address your party invitations, play board games, and be there so your teenager has someone to ignore! Do you have an elder in the house? I will help your aged mom remember to take her meds, be sure she doesn't fall, play scrabble with grandpa, and prep their favorite sandwich with just the right amount of butter (that's important). I am respectful of all religions (or no religion), and will be sure to uphold your family's priorities so that your children have continuity within your home's environment. Just explain to me what your values are, and I'll consistently reflect them to your kids and elders (even if they are not my own values). I am friendly with all ethnicities. My mom runs an in home daycare. I helped her supervise children 0-5 years old. They like me because I’m kind gentle. Burping babies, bathing them, feeding them, infant to two years is pretty boring, however I get to watch them grow intrinsically to me. Kids are nice spirit, I know how to release their full potential from 0- 5.
