Hi! I’m Nika. Pronounced “Knee-ka.” I’m 25 years old and originally from Tennessee, but I’ve been living in North Carolina since 2022 and absolutely love it here. I’m currently a college student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, with over 50 credit hours completed so far. My goal is to become a teacher one day, but for now, while I’m in college, I’m focused on gaining experience and supporting families through childcare. I come from a very large and family-oriented background with over 20 siblings so I’ve literally been around children my whole life. I’ve always had a natural connection with kids and find so much joy in being part of their growth. Watching them learn, develop new skills, and grow into their personalities is truly rewarding. I have over five years of paid childcare experience across several roles. I started at a daycare as a floater in the infant classrooms, caring for babies aged 3 to 11 months. I handled tasks like bottle prep, feeding, transitioning to solids, tummy time, naps, and diaper changes. In the afternoons, I would help school-aged children (6–8 years old) with homework and tutoring. After moving to NC, I became an assistant teacher at a preparatory academy, working with toddlers (12–16 months) on walking, speech, and fine motor development. I then started as lead toddler teacher (ages 12–23 months) at a preschool before switching with a coworker to lead the pre-K classroom (ages 3–4). I created weekly lesson plans including hands-on activities like learning shapes and colors, storytelling, name writing, and puzzle-solving. I also have experience working with children who have disabilities such as autism and ADHD. I always treat every child equally, but I adjust my approach based on their needs, such as avoiding loud noises for children with sensory sensitivities or creating structured routines for children who need consistency. I was a nanny to a three-year-old boy for over two years. I supported him through major milestones like language development and social-emotional growth. I am now a nanny to a 2 year old, 6 year old, and 9 year old and have been with them for over a year! In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, writing, dancing, and playing sports like volleyball, tennis, and soccer. I love arts and crafts and believe that learning often looks like messy fun. I’m also big on routines and keeping things tidy after play. While I love to have fun and be creative, safety and supervision always come first.

My name is Tania. I have so much energy and will become your babies best friend. I’ve always loved working with kids, animals, anything artsy, creative and Early Childhood Development. I have been a nanny for the Upper East Side, Brooklyn and Queens. I am thirty years old and I posses nearly twenty years’ progressive experience caring for children of all ages. I know I can help your child exceed in their education and character. I love being able to help children learn and grow to their full potential. Pets are okay! I like to ask parents if they'd like a quick update while they're out. Sending a quick message and picture to let them know that everything is going well has been part of what's helped me create lasting relationships with so many families. I am organized and thorough, I have a calm and patient manner and I understand the dangers around children and what they should not be doing. I have worked with kids witch have the softest of voices. As well as kids with the biggest of smiles and loudest of voices. I have gained a solid experience caring for children of all ages in a broad variety of stimulating activities. Nannies create an impact that is unforgettable.

My name is Roslyn, and I go by Roz for short. I have over 12 years of experience in childcare and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in Early Childhood Education. I currently provide nurturing childcare services that include age-appropriate learning activities, creative play, music and arts enrichment, storytelling, homework help, and tutoring support in a safe and encouraging environment. I also teach Spanish to toddlers and pre-K students with O’Neil Language Academy, where I introduce early language skills through songs, movement, and interactive lessons designed to keep young learners engaged. In addition, I offer tutoring services for children who need extra academic support, focusing on building confidence and foundational skills at their own pace. Outside of childcare and education, I am a freelance musician based in Nashville. I play saxophone and sing, and I enjoy incorporating music into learning whenever appropriate. My hobbies include baking, dancing, and learning new languages. I speak a little Spanish and am always eager to continue learning. I am creative, active, and truly enjoy teaching children while learning from them in return.
If you need tutoring, special education support, or behavior support — let me help! If you need a calm adult who can support the entire family, from behavior plans, to deescalating arguments with children, transitions, and general emotional support- I'm here! I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and hold a Special Education K-12 license, with over 10 years of experience working with children and young adults from 6 weeks to 21 years old. I started working with children in high school through early childhood education classes and built my career from there — working in Montessori and Waldorf school settings, as a Special Education teacher, and most recently as a behavior specialist working across school, family, and clinical settings with children, teens, and adults. Working with children is my passion, and I have a particular love for supporting kids who are navigating behavior challenges. I've worked extensively with ADHD, ASD, SPD, and a wide range of cognitive and learning differences. I believe deeply in positive behavior supports and lead with social-emotional learning in everything I do — helping kids not just manage their behavior, but actually understand themselves better. I also bring over 13 years of experience supporting families directly in their homes, so I understand the full picture — not just the child, but the whole family system. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and I'm happy to connect you with references right away!
Hi, I am currently a mom of three sweet girls ages 20, 17 and 10. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience with children. I began babysitting when I was in middle school. I continued babysitting through high school and college. After graduating college with a teaching degree, I taught 6th grade for 6 years until I had my first daughter. Later, I was a preschool teacher where I cared for babies 8 months to 14 months old. For the past several years I have been a nanny for three different families each with great references. I have loved being with the babies, interacting with them, and discovering their own personalities.

Hi! My name is Christina and I’m a MBA student at Middle Tennessee State University, studying data science. I also have experience working with children. I used to babysit through SittingMadeSimple and helped out a family with an autistic child and loved watching videos and playing outdoors with him. I also volunteered at the Discovery Center and would help them with arts and craft and teach them about important figures in history. Before that, I looked after my younger brothers by taking them to and from school activities and making sure they were eating healthy meals. I enjoy working with children and want to help families in any way I can. I hope to connect with you soon!
