I have worked with children since I was an adolescent from babysitting my younger sister who is ten years younger to working with children from volunteer work and the work field. I have volunteered to work with middle schoolers in English language arts and currently do Sunday School with children aged 3-11. I have also worked for the school district (especially in the inner city) as a teaching assistant, paraprofessional, one-to-one, and substitute supporting staff with youth from ages 3-17, but predominantly with 6-11 from general education to children with special needs. I enjoy doing arts/crafts, helping with homework, outdoor activities, creative play, hands on play, and so on. I can balance and juggle multiple ages at once as well. I am very supportive of nutrition and overall wellbeing of the children and their family. I have no issues with pets and enjoy giving dogs walks. As my grandparents age, I am becoming more aware of the needs of the elderly and try to assist them whenever possible as well. I have an associate's degree in Childhood education, and have done first aid and CPR.
