Hi! My name is Kate, and I’m a certified educator with a strong background in Montessori education, early childhood and elementary education, special education, general education, and family support. I hold dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education, with training and experience supporting children across both general and special education settings. My background includes working in Montessori school environments, supporting student programming, partnering closely with families, and serving as a trusted point of communication between parents, children, teachers, and school leadership. Originally from Buffalo, NY, I moved to Manhattan in 2024 to continue my education. I’m 25 years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Childhood Development from Nazareth College. After graduating in 2022, I spent two years working in a psychiatric facility supporting children with mental health needs, working with kids as young as 5 and up to 17 years old. Caring for children has always been something I genuinely love. During my earlier years in school, I also nannied for several families, gaining hands-on experience with infants as young as 2 months old as well as families with multiple children. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of children at different developmental stages. In my free time, I love staying active and engaged with kids by playing soccer, exploring parks, and visiting museums. I’m also a big dog lover and am very comfortable around pets. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel supported and cared for.
