Hi! I’m Tiana, a teacher and longtime lover of working with kids. I am currently a licensed special education teacher and have experience working with children across a variety of ages, personalities, and needs. Working with kids is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a teacher, I’m patient, responsible, organized, and used to handling everything from big emotions and busy schedules to homework help and keeping kids entertained. I’m also comfortable working with children who have different learning styles or additional needs. I believe babysitting should be more than simply supervising children, so I enjoy getting to know each child and finding activities that they genuinely enjoy. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, playtime, crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and whatever else makes your family’s routine a little easier. Outside of teaching, I recently got married and moved to Chicago with my husband. I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, exploring the city, and being outdoors. I’m a warm, dependable, and easygoing person, but I also understand the importance of structure and boundaries when caring for children.
