I'm from a tight-knit extended family with about 25 first cousins, so I've been caring for children of various ages since I was old enough to hold a baby, with paid experience outside my family throughout the last 13 years. I spent two years between undergrad and law school working in childcare full-time. I have extensive experience with infants, toddlers, and school age children. I'm particularly good with pre-verbal toddlers, thanks to my experience growing up with a little brother who had a language delay. I also have experience tutoring, specifically in math. My favorite thing about babysitting is finding things that spark a child's curiosity and helping them learn.

I spent my years at Northwestern teaching drama classes in the Chicagoland area and working with Seesaw Theatre, an arts advocacy group that creates one-on-one sensory immersive theatre for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities (I then worked with a similar group in NYC for three years). I nannied for a crew of elementary schoolers, and eventually a toddler sibling as well, for four years. Between teaching drama classes, babysitting, nannying, teaching swim lessons, and working at a childcare center in high school, I have worked with kiddos from three months old to eighteen years old! In my free time I write, read, and make theatre.

Hello! My name is Jeanette. I moved to Chicago in 2021 to pursue my MA in Sound Arts and Industries at Northwestern University. I currently work as a freelance audio engineer and teaching artist in the local film and arts community, and I’m looking for part-time or occasional childcare opportunities between projects. Before moving to Chicago, I worked as an early childhood educator in New Mexico public schools and summer programs. I earned my BA from the University of New Mexico with an interdisciplinary focus in Early Childhood & Multicultural Education, Music Studies/Performance, and Communication. I have years of experience working with children from early childhood through teens as a teacher, nanny, and sitter. I've been working with children for the last fifteen years! I started at Kumon Math and Reading before becoming a nanny for two families in Minnesota. I graduated from Northwestern in 2020 with degrees in Theatre, Marketing, and Film. Upon moving to LA, I became a full time nanny responsible for Zoom preschool and kindergarten. Although I've transitioned into working marketing back in the Twin Cities, I still love helping out as a date night sitter or part-time nanny.

Hi! I am a current MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg looking to make some extra money while in school. I'm originally from California and, prior to Kellogg, was working as a clinical researcher at Stanford for over 8 years running clinical trials for Type 1 diabetes technology. My working role involves working with children of all ages (as young as 3 and up) in a healthcare setting, requiring 24/7 oversight for safety. Much of the research I do involve multi-day studies to oversee how new medical devices perform; I’m essentially serving as a babysitter and creating/overseeing activities to do (it’s hard to explain, but I’m more than happy to do so if you’d like more details about what this means!). I have my BS in human development from UC Davis. Aside from my current role, I have multiple years of experience working with children during college in classroom settings, through various baby sitting gigs, and even teaching piano. I love puzzles, baking, playing with my pup (and generally all dogs), and being outside and active as much as possible! I most recently spent a quarter abroad in Australia and was fortunate enough to complete a few multi day backpacking trips around Australia and New Zealand I love being creative and am happy to do arts and crafts and supervised baking projects with your child! I have been CPR/First Aid trained and certified multiple times in the past (including toddler/infant) for my job, though that has since expired. Hi! I'm Savannah and I'm a recent graduate from Northwestern University (with my B.A. in Psychology)! I have always loved working with kids and would love to be a helpful addition for your family! I love chatting and getting to know kids and all they have to share about, in addition to having lots of fun ideas for activities we can try! I'm also very solid in my knowledge of elementary-aged school subjects and could be a helpful tutor to your little ones (I am quite a nerd myself and actually enjoy helping with homework if that sounds useful!). I am into all kinds of hobbies including arts and crafts (especially crochet) and dancing, but always open to learn new things! I've volunteered with toddlers and elementary-aged children in different settings and was also a part-time babysitter for boys who were a bit older (end of middle school) this past year, so I can connect with various age groups. I'm offering mainly child care, but I am also open to pet care (cat-sitting specifically), senior care (cooking and driving to appointments primarily), and household services.
