I’m CPR and First Aid certified, responsible, and patient, and I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and loving environment for children. Hi! I'm Maria, a pre-med student at Nova Southeastern University and a medical assistant with hands-on healthcare experience. I'm certified in CPR, BLS, First Aid, and emergency response. I'm reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoy caring for others. I have experience caring for both grade-school-aged children and seniors with disabilities, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and positive environment for everyone I work with. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, with intermediate ASL skills, which helps me communicate with a wide range of families. I also enjoy helping children with homework, especially science and other school subjects, and I love staying active through sports. I've played soccer since I was young and enjoy encouraging kids to learn, play, and build confidence. Whether you need childcare, senior care, homework help, or light household assistance, I'm dedicated to providing dependable, compassionate care you can trust.
Hello! My name is Maya, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered to work with your family. I am 24 years old and have been caring for children since my teenage years, with over three years of professional experience. Since 2022, I have worked at a camp serving children with serious medical conditions, where I have developed strong caregiving, communication, and safety-focused skills. I am comfortable working with children of all ages but have a soft spot for infants and toddlers. I currently live in Marin, hold a bachelor’s degree in public health, and am working toward a career in the healthcare field. I hold a valid driver's license and own a car. Additionally, I have worked as a lifeguard for the past five years and am certified in CPR/First Aid.
Hi!! I’m a super easygoing, reliable sitter who genuinely loves being around kids. I'm born and raised in Brazil and I started working as an as an au pair in the USA from 2[removed], then nannied for a couple more years, and have been babysitting on and off ever since. I’ve pretty much done it all with kiddos from newborns up to 10 years old. I’m big on keeping things fun but structured, I love to bake or cook with the kids (I allow them to help based on how old they are), going to the playground, setting up playdates, or just hanging out and getting creative at home. I’m also very comfortable with routines like school pick-up and drop-ff, meals, bath time, and bedtime (and keeping things running smoothly while you’re out). I'm also a great swimmer. I’ve always had really great relationships with the families I’ve worked with and try to be someone both parents and kids feel totally comfortable with. I’m also graduating with my Bachelor’s in Psychology from NSU this May 2026 (yay!) and plan to continue into a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, so I bring a lot of patience and understanding into how I work with kids. Would love to help out your family 🤍
