Dear Urban sitter families, as a Nanny with an educational background in early childhood development and over ten years of experience caring for children ranging from 2.5 through age 16, I believe I can add a lot of value to your family. I began babysitting at an early age. I knew I always wanted to work with children, and I went to school to get an associate degree in early childhood development. During that time, I worked as a Child Care Assistant in Michigan, where I attended to the needs of over 25 children from 2.5 through age four. In my last role as a live-out Nanny for a family of three, I regularly provided after-school enrichment for the children, planned meals, organized games and activities and completed light housework such as dusting, mopping and sweeping. I excel at remaining calm in challenging situations and possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. In addition to housework, I have comprehensive experience completing errands and cooking nutritious meals. I'm also certified in first aid/CPR ,love animals and I'm an excellent swimmer.
