A Little About Me ❤️ My name is Jahmina (JJ) Mom of 3 kiddos 23, 15, and 7. Born and raised in Washington State, I’m a compassionate, nurturing, and dependable person who has always had a natural gift for caring for others. Being a caretaker isn’t just something I do for work—it’s a part of who I am. I’ve always believed that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and loved, whether they have two legs or four! With a professional background in adolescent psychiatric and behavioral health, I’ve gained valuable experience supporting young people through emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. My work has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, understanding, and meeting each individual where they are. My caregiving experience also includes childcare, senior care, and pet care, including supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Whether I’m helping a child learn and grow, providing companionship and support to an older adult, or making sure a beloved pet feels safe and cared for, I approach every responsibility with genuine love and dedication. Outside of caregiving, I’m a down-to-earth Washington girl who values family, kindness, connection, and the little things that make life special. I believe sometimes the greatest difference we can make is simply showing up, lending a helping hand, sharing a smile, or making someone feel less alone. My goal is to provide more than just care—I want to bring comfort, trust, companionship, and peace of mind to the people and families who welcome me into their lives. Hi, my name is Renatha, I'm 29 and I'm from Brazil. I've been here in the US for almost 7 years. I have a 3yo girl and a 18mo boy. I can either bring one of them as a playmate or they can stay at home with grandma. When taking care of kids I like playing and interacting with them, reading books and sometimes I try to teach some Portuguese. Arts and crafts is usually their favorite, along with going to a playground nearby.. I like letting the kids explore and have fun, even if that means they get a little dirty (of course, with the families that are okay with that). My favorite thing to do is hiking and learning about plants. Every hike I bring along my plants book and I always find something interesting and new. I've learned some plants are eatable, some are medicinal and some are poisonous. Now I know which plants to stay away and which to have it around. My favorite hike was an amazing 3 day hike, 37 miles round trip to a blue glacier right in the middle of the Olympic national forest. That was amazing! *** I do have a bad review, I had to cancel short notice. My car was just not starting and jumping didn't help it. Since then I've got it fixed and I have no more problems with it. ***
