Hello there! My name is Paloma and I have over 25 years of experience working with kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I truly love working with all ages in a variety of settings. I worked professionally as an elementary school garden teacher and outdoor educator for many years, and as a nanny for many years as well. I am also the eldest of six siblings, who now have children of their own, so childcare just comes naturally to me. What is most important for me about working with kids is providing a loving space for them to have creative fun and develop a sense of connection. I’m good at everything from imaginative play to homework time to dinner and bed time. I especially love to get outside with kids. Hello! My name is Erin, and I am interested in being a part to full time nanny or providing occasional babysitting for your family. I have 15 years of professional experience working with kids as little as infants and young people as old as 17. I can provide written and/or oral recommendations from all past positions. I have over 5 years of formal classroom teaching experience, and over 10 years of after school and summer programming experience. I have worked with children across the country from Washington D.C. to Kansas City to Tucson and the Bay Area. I have taught English Language Arts, Science, Math and History to a variety of age groups. Throughout my time as a teacher I also gained invaluable skills in helping young people develop socially and emotionally. It is important to me to work the whole child and whatever setting I find myself in. I grew up in the Bay Area and am happy to return here to look for work and build community! As a babysitter and nanny I am always excited to: help kids with their homework, provide tutoring to get ahead academically, play safely outside, play all kinds of games, make meals, read stories, do arts and crafts as well as much more. I am comfortable watching up to three children at the same time; for up to twelve hours at a time. I have my own vehicle, and I can easily provide safe and reliable transportation.
