Hi there! I'm a college graduate with a background in engineering, but after a few years of navigating the corporate world, I realized my true passion lies in caregiving. I've always found joy and purpose in working with kids—something that started when my younger sister was born while I was in high school. Helping raise and spend time with her (and my younger step-siblings) gave me firsthand experience in nurturing, guiding, and, of course, having fun with children of all ages. For the past year, I’ve been babysitting part-time and have truly loved building connections with the families I’ve worked with. Hi, I'm Em! I've been babysitting for at least 10 years, for children of all ages. Most recently I was nannying for a 3 month old until he turned 12 months and was ready to go to day-care. A little bit about me; I work part-time at a gluten-free/vegan bakery on Saturdays, walk dogs M-Th, and in my free time I do art and sometimes sell my wares at markets. I live with my medium-sized dog named Basil who's about 7 years old. I also love tattoos, indoor plants, and hanging out in nature whenever possible! In terms of care, I love actively playing with the kids, rather than sitting them in front of a screen, and I like to do activities like arts and crafts, reading books, hide and seek, and playing outdoors. I'm friendly with any kind of pets, and I'm willing to consider families with up to three children. I'm looking forward to hearing about your little guy(s) :)
