Hello! My name is Kennedy! I am 25 years old and am an elder sister to four younger siblings. I have helped in caring for each of them since I was 12 years old. This has included picking and dropping them off at school, preparing meals, bathing, preparing for bedtime, playing board games, and other fun activities! Outside of my personal experience, I have volunteered for childcare at different organizations in my community as well. I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Psychology and Behavioral Health Studies, and I have experience in studying adolescence and childhood development alongside my hands-on experience. I have additionally worked with young children with cognitive disorders during my senior year internship. I love working with kids and getting to play again as an adult! I take pride in my dedication to learning and following guidelines for exactly how parents wish for me to care for their children and home. I enter with an open mind and utilize my teaching experience and observational skills to notice how best your child thrives. This allows me to get creative with finding age-appropriate learning opportunities in daily activities and adventures. I feel very comfortable driving to/from school and activities, cooking meals, taking care of pets, and overnights as needed.
