Hello! My name is Kennedy, or Ken for short! I am 26 years old and am an elder sister to four younger siblings, who now range from age 12 to 18. I have helped in caring for each of them since I was 12 years old. This has included picking and dropping them off at school, preparing meals, bathing, preparing for bedtime, playing board games, and other fun activities! Outside of my personal experience, I have volunteered for childcare at different organizations in my community as well. I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Psychology and Behavioral Health Studies, and I have experience in studying adolescence and childhood development alongside my hands-on experience. In addition to growing up with many siblings, I also have experience in caring for a broad range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and bearded dragons! I can also provide aid with basic household chores as well. I love working with kids and getting to play again as an adult! Some of my interests include reading, yoga, exploring the outdoors, crocheting, and making jewelry. I currently work as a barista in the mornings and volunteer at a mental health clinic in the afternoons, so my availability is mostly in the evenings, though I am willing to find flexibility on days when I can! Hello- I'm Breanna and I'm a former teacher (children's programming an aquarium and later in schools) who is on her way to becoming an Occupational Therapist. I take pride in my dedication to learning and following guidelines for exactly how parents wish for me to care for their children and home. I enter with an open mind and utilize my teaching experience and observational skills to notice how best your child thrives. This allows me to get creative with finding age-appropriate learning opportunities in daily activities and adventures. I feel very comfortable driving to/from school and activities, cooking meals, taking care of pets, and overnights as needed.
