I am currently a nanny and do lots of baby sitting in the Kansas City area. I have experience as a full-time nanny for a 1.5 and 3 year old. I also have experience with newborns, babies and toddlers, as well as young kids and teenagers. I’ve taught gymnastics to all elementary school ages and have experience as a middle school/high school youth group leader. I have limited experience with children with autism. However, I have had good outcomes when I do watch them, and have taken to me well. I’m open minded and friendly. I am a child at heart, so I enjoy the activities we do throughout the day, especially getting outside! One of my favorite parts of the job is teaching and seeing the growth and development over time. I also admire the small things we can learn from children as adults. I’m great with animals, so that’s never a problem, and I would love to dog/cat sit. I’m open to help with cleaning, organizing, meal prep, grocery shopping, and driving. My availability has a tendency to be inconsistent due to my other jobs. If my calendar states I’m unavailable for a certain day, feel free to contact me in case I am available.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I’m 41, I live is a happy home with my spouse and our 3 year old daughter and our dog (bestest boy ever). I have tons of experience ranging from nannying for multiple families. Including multiples and children with special needs. I also worked as a substitute teacher for a decade. I also spent 2 year in China teaching English. I went to St. Cloud State where I earned a B.A. in Anthropology and Ethnic studies. I also studied Communication Development and Disorders (Speech Pathology) for a year as a post- bachelor, which gave me a considerable background in child and language development. I love animals. I have excellent references and a lot to offer any family. If you are interested in setting up an interview or if you'd like to see my resume please get in touch!
Hi there, I'm Amy! I am a licensed educator and lover of the outdoors. I'm licensed to teach English Language Arts grades 5-12, but have spent the last school year subbing in classrooms ranging from Pre-K-12th grade. I've nannied and babysat for families in the past with kids of all ages and abilities. My duties as a nanny included transportation to and from school and appointments, snack and meal prep, light house cleaning, arts and crafts, fun outings, dog and cat care, homework help, and nighttime routines. Working in schools every day means learning all kinds of ways to get kids thinking and engaged in meaningful ways. I have lots of patience when it comes to skill-building and activities with kids, and enjoy designing activities, playing games, and getting outdoors. During college I worked for two years in a senior living community with seniors ranging in age (55-100+) and varying ability levels. My duties ranged from nutrition and meal monitoring to caretaking and quality time. I also have 5+ years experience house sitting. I've taken care of landscaping, cleaning, and mail/package pick-up as well as pet and plant care.
